Offers and campaign planning

What an offer contains

  • A benefit — for example a percentage or a fixed amount off, or a free item.
  • Conditions — minimum basket, maximum discount, whether already-discounted items count, and a limit per customer.
  • Caps — daily and weekly limits, or none.
  • The branches where it is valid, and its dates and hours (Kuwait time).
  • Terms generated in English and Arabic.

Pricing in SPX

The store sets its SPX price through Points offers equations, not offer by offer, with optional category rates and seasonal coefficients. The reference 40 pts ≈ 1 KWD that players see is indicative only; it is not a fixed discount rule.

Before an offer goes live

  1. Run the commercial test. It estimates the effect on gross profit for low, typical and high baskets. Margins are private to the store.
  2. Send it for approval. The store owner (or a delegated branch manager) approves the exact version.
  3. Activate it, or schedule it.

What customers are promised

  • Once a customer confirms an exchange, their voucher is valid for 30 days, or until the offer ends if sooner.
  • Vouchers already issued are honoured on the terms they were issued with, even if the offer is later changed, paused or replaced.

Campaigns

A campaign groups offers, content and notifications behind one objective, budget and audience. Audiences are built from conditions; an audience with no conditions cannot be saved. Campaigns depend on the store's plan.

Planning tips

  • Write conditions a cashier can check quickly.
  • Set caps you can afford: a capped offer has a known ceiling; an uncapped one does not.
  • Make the offer valid only at branches with a working scanner.
