| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Redemption | A voucher confirmed at a till. It counts for the branch whose scanner redeemed it. |
| Recorded discount | The discount the till applied, as recorded by the cashier, net of corrections. |
| Reconciled | The recorded discount matches the expected discount. |
| Not reported | A confirmed sale with no applied amount. Counted, never added as zero. |
| Conversion | Vouchers issued in the period that were redeemed. |
| Ceiling (estimate) | The most an offer could cost in a period under its caps. An offer with no cap has no ceiling. |
| Rating | 1–5 stars from a customer whose voucher was used; one per code. |
Recorded and estimated
Every figure is labelled. Estimated figures are never shown as actual. Basket values are not recorded, so a percentage offer's real cost may be higher than its estimate.
What SPKTRM does not see
A store's margin figures are private to the store. Customers appear to stores by masked reference, not by name or phone number.
