Reading the behavioral index

Every player has a behavioral index: a gauge built from the actions they chose in past confrontations. Reading it is how you decide what to do.

What the gauge means

  • Green means they usually choose Team up.
  • Red means they usually choose Take.
  • The middle means a mix of both.

The labels follow the same scale: Mostly Take, Leans Take, Balanced, Leans Team up, Mostly Team up.

How it is worked out

The index counts only Team up and Take choices, across all of a player's history:

index = Team up choices ÷ (Team up choices + Take choices)

Turn does not affect the index, and results (winning or losing) are not counted.

A player shows Not enough history when they have played fewer than 3 confrontations, or have never chosen Team up or Take.

What it does not tell you

The index describes past choices — not the current choice. When you choose your action, the gauge you see was captured when the round started and is labelled Based on past choices. It never reveals what your opponent is choosing now.

Your own index

Other players read your index the same way. After each confrontation the result shows how your index moved, for example toward Team up, or No change if you chose Turn. Profile shows your index, your Action mix and your Team up ratio, Take ratio and Turn count.
