Access and roles

This guide explains how to open the portal, how scope works, and what each role is for.

Open the portal

  1. Go to app.spktrm.net/store and pass SPKTRM Founders Access with the code you were given.
  2. On the sign-in screen, choose a development account. In the preview none has a password.

Result: a cashier lands on the scanner; every other role lands on Home.

Preview

Real staff accounts with their own sign-in arrive with the platform backend. Until then, a person invited in Staff and roles is a record with a role and branches, but nobody authenticates. Demo role switching. Real sign-in and enforcement arrive with the backend and must be enforced there.

Store, branch and scope

The top bar shows the store, the Scope, and the account menu (person, role, company and plan).

  • An owner, marketing user or analyst works across all branches: Scope: All branches (combined), or one branch.
  • A branch manager or cashier works only in the branches they were assigned.
  • People who work for more than one store choose the store in the store switcher.

Each page says whether it follows the scope. Staff, Campaigns, Points offers and Content are company-wide and are not filtered by branch.

The five roles

RoleWhat it is for
Store ownerFull store management within platform rules: staff, every branch, commercial figures, offer approval and publishing, and the plan. Cannot change SPKTRM's global settings.
Branch managerAssigned branches only: branch operations and the till, local offers, disputes and branch analytics. Approves offers only when the owner delegates it. No pricing, no commercial figures.
CashierOne screen — the scanner at their branch: validate a voucher, confirm or cancel the attempt, see the branch's recent redemptions, report a problem. No margins, billing, staff or reports.
MarketingComposes offers, campaigns, content and notifications, and reads the results. Publishes content and campaigns; cannot approve or publish an offer.
Analyst (read only)Reads and exports where allowed. Changes nothing.

The full matrix is in Staff and roles → Permission matrix. See Staff and roles.

Rights only the owner holds

  • Approve and publish offers (a branch manager can approve only when delegated).
  • Change Points offers pricing.
  • Reverse a completed redemption. Cashiers and branch managers use Request correction instead.
  • Accept a different discount in the exception queue.
  • Invite people, change their access, and deactivate them.
  • Ask SPKTRM about a plan change.

When access stops

  • Your session has ended — sign in again.
  • If your role cannot open a page, the portal says so and links back to your home.
  • A banner on every page means the store's membership is restricted or suspended. It says what is paused and what still works, and links to its support case.
