Offer catalog

The Offer catalog holds what customers can redeem, and what each one costs you. An offer moves from draft, to approved, to live — and nothing reaches customers until it is published.

Required role:

TaskWho
Create and edit draftsStore owner, marketing, branch manager (their branches)
ApproveStore owner; a branch manager only when the owner delegated approval
Activate or schedule (publish)Store owner
See margin estimatesStore owner; others only when the owner delegated it

1. Create an offer

  1. Press New offer.
  2. Choose the offer type and its benefit — for example a percentage off the basket.
  3. Set the conditions: minimum basket, maximum discount, whether already-discounted items are excluded, and the limit per customer.
  4. Set caps: a daily cap and a weekly cap, or No daily cap (unlimited). A cap of 0 never means unlimited. Invalid values are refused beside the field and what you typed stays.
  5. Choose the branches, the start and end date and time (Kuwait time), and Only at set hours if the offer runs at certain times.
  6. Choose an approved image from Content and assets.
  7. Read the generated terms in English and Arabic, and the eligibility preview of qualifying and non-qualifying baskets.
  8. Save.

Result: a draft, version 1. It survives reloading the page.

2. Test the commercial effect

Before an offer can go live it needs a recorded commercial test for its current version. The estimate shows low, typical and high baskets, each with a label:

LabelMeaning
Margin largely retainedMost of the estimated gross profit on the basket remains.
Margin reducedLess than half of the estimated gross profit remains.
Gross-profit break-evenThe promotion uses up all of the estimated gross profit.
Estimated lossThe promotion costs more than the estimated gross profit.
Not enough informationA figure the estimate needs is missing — no verdict is given.

Minimum eligible basket and Gross-profit break-even are shown as separate rows. Margin figures are private to your store: SPKTRM does not see them.

3. Send for approval

Press Send for approval. Home shows the offer as waiting — not live — and it is never counted as live.

4. Approve and publish

  1. As the store owner (or a delegated branch manager), open the offer and approve the exact version.
  2. Activate it, or schedule it if its start is in the future. A scheduled offer never goes live early.

Result: the offer is live and customers can exchange SPX for it. Publishing requires the store to be ready. See Store and branch readiness.

Change, replace or copy an offer

  • Edit a draft — saving creates a new version. A material change is badged in the history, and a commercial test on an earlier version becomes stale: The terms changed after the last test — test them again.
  • Edit an approved offer — the approval clears and it returns to draft.
  • Live offer — use Prepare a replacement. Activating the replacement ends the original.
  • Ended offer, or any offer you want to reuse — use Copy as draft. The review lists what was copied, reset and must be checked; you must confirm the dates before creating the copy.

Vouchers already issued under an earlier version are honoured on their original terms until their own expiry.
