Points offers

Points offers sets the price, in SPX, that customers pay for your offers. The price comes from an equation, so you do not price each offer by hand.

Required role: store owner to change pricing. Branch managers, marketing and analysts can view.

The equations

  • Default equation — either Per dinar (a fixed rate per dinar of benefit) or Per point of discount (a rate per percentage point of discount). If a percentage offer has no minimum basket to take a percentage of, it is priced at the fixed rate instead.
  • Category equations — optional. A category listed here prices its own offers; everything else uses the default.
  • Seasons and occasions — a coefficient between 0.25 and 4 that applies for a stretch of time, such as Ramadan or Kuwait National Days. Overlapping periods never multiply together; the narrower one wins.
  • Minimum price (SPX) — no offer is priced below this.

A rate has to be greater than zero.

Change pricing

  1. Edit the equations. The preview shows what typical offers would cost.
  2. Press Review and save as a version.
  3. Read the impact:
    • Drafts that will be re-priced, from → to;
    • offers that Keep their price until edited;
    • published offers, which are not recalculated — customers keep the terms they were shown.
  4. Choose when it takes effect: Now or At a set time. Add a note.
  5. Save.

Result: a new entry in Pricing versions. A version set for later applies once, at its time, and the audit log records the re-pricing.
