Vouchers and coupons
Vouchers and coupons lists every code your offers have issued, and what became of it.
Required role: store owner, branch manager, marketing or analyst to view. Cancelling a voucher: store owner, or a branch manager the owner has delegated it to.
Read the register
Each row shows the Code, Customer (a reference, not a name), Offer, Issued, Expires, SPX, State, Source and the linked Transaction. Search by code, and filter by state.
Each voucher keeps the offer version and terms it was issued with. Expired is worked out from the clock, never stored.
Cancel a voucher
Cancel a valid, unused voucher when it should never be used — for example, it was issued in error.
- Open the voucher.
- Under Cancel voucher, write the reason.
- Confirm.
Result: the voucher stops working for good and cannot be used at any branch. The customer gets their SPX back (a simulated demo balance in the preview). Your reason is recorded.
Cancelling a voucher is not the same as cancelling an attempt at the till, which leaves the voucher valid. See Cancel an unfinished attempt.
Issue a demo voucher
Because a customer's phone and your device cannot share data in the preview, Issue a demo voucher creates a voucher for a demo customer so you can practise at the till. Demo only: no message is sent to anyone. Then choose Redeem it at the till.
